Description

And now for something completely different (I'm doing this a lot lately :XD:) ... GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN!!!

I could not resist drawing this very classy Chiss! I love him so much, I bought "Heir to the Empire" in iBooks today. And Ihave to say, the first chapter seriously made Thrawn instant epic!

I sorta added a bit of Benedict Cumberbatch to this guy, I keep on that voice in my mind. :XD:

Thrawn must have taken good care of that little guy right there :meow:

Hope you like it :D Please comment or critique, I need the feedback to improve.

First off, I really love the idea of this, him standing on the imperial seal with planets behind him. Not quite sure if the Death Star is appropriate, since that was really before his time. I like his badass arms crossed pose. The costume looks pretty accurate.

Now what really stands out as a dislike for me is the eye sore contrast between photo-realistic stuff and the stuff that you drew. I think you should have drawn all of it. I'm glad that you did the shading on him, but it seems like you missed some shading for the bottom of his arms. You should also think of doing a few clothing wrinkles next time. And there should certainly be some shiine on his boots, and maybe on his eyes. I don't quite recall how it works with Chiss eyes or hair, but shine on the boots is a yes.

A good effort, you just need more practice, and try drawing all of it.
